====== Nibbler ====== A program such as X-Copy (nibble mode), Nibble Copy, etc. which tries to take intelligent guesses at track [[glossary:sync]] widths, [[glossary:gap|gaps]] or holes in [[glossary:track|tracks]], etc. These programs store all this information in memory while copying the disk, something that may require many disk swaps on single drive systems. They generally worked better than a "normal" copy, but not by a large amount.
