====== Density Compression ======

  * Wrote [[:glossary:density|density]] table decompression routine.
  * Implemented loads of [[:article:importance of data integrity|integrity checks]], to ensure proper data migration between Amiga and PC, and proper compression.
  * Fixed some minor bugs in compression, found through extensive testing.
  * Tested on a lot of [[:glossary:track|track]] images, now both compression and decompression work as expected.

Time to port the routines to the Amiga.

After this is done, only a second compression routine is needed for the track data itself on the Amiga side, and "[[:glossary:ct|CT]] version 3" should be ready to dump stuff. A write routine to remaster images will go into CT version 4...
