Format Scoring + Descriptor Changes

2 March 2002

New Weighted/Balanced Format Scoring System

A weight value can now be defined for blocks and data links independently. A value of zero makes the associated item’s sub-score irrelevant. Anything above ‘1’ is a more and more “preferred” property. So for example, 10 means a very high preference for the presence of a data item or block, so if it is not present, the overall score would be lower and would be very unlikely to match this descriptor.
