====== Analyser: Generic Hardware-MFM Noise Processing ======

We have now added an additional feature to the [[:glossary:cta|analyser]] for generic hardware MFM format generation, and that is processing noise/junk data from within unformatted [[:glossary:track|tracks]]. The only thing left to do is to support tracks with variable [[:glossary:density|density]] within the same track, and that will happen some time soon.

**Note 1:** Both of these things are of course already supported for other images. This only affects the generic hardware MFM format generation.

**Note 2:** This simply refers to our tool for analysing disk images, and means that a few rare games cannot be //processed// yet. It **does not** mean that these games cannot be imaged by the [[:glossary:ct|imaging software]]. That is a completely separate and generic system that will handle this protection just fine. This concerns only the processing of the data that has already been read.
